wrapping up a tough few months
Hello sweet friends!
It's been a while since I've connected with you. I hope this message finds you well and thriving. Things took an unexpected twist for me a few months ago when I discovered that I have severe osteoarthritis, arthritic damage to my hip joint from the previous scoliosis. While I have been able to fulfill my professional commitments, on a personal level, honestly, it's been tough. It's been hard to walk, sit for extended periods at my computer, sleep, or even manage tasks around the house due to functional pain. Both the quality of life and my energy levels were deeply impacted (hence, why it is that I have been quieter than usual).
That being said, I dedicated myself to self-care, while exploring a variety of alternative and holistic therapeutic approaches. Keeping up with my spiritual practices has also helped to ensure I stay energetically balanced and attuned to my own needs while also providing the best support for my clients. I've also been working closely with my chiropractor, incorporating the transformative teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza, and doing the deeper work to heal the inherited conditioning that has limited my perception of what was possible for my body and well-being.
After five tough months, filled with difficult days that tempted me to give up, I’m thrilled to share that not only does it appear I may no longer need a hip replacement, but I’m experiencing little to no pain and walking with more ease (and joy) as a result of these approaches —our bodies, when given the chance, are truly capable of incredible healing!
Our bodies are remarkable systems designed to heal and recover. Each day, we have the opportunity to nurture ourselves—mind, body, and spirit. When we provide our bodies with the right nutrients, rest, and care, they can flourish and heal beyond what we might think possible.
Embracing a journey of healing requires belief in ourselves and recognition of the inner strength we possess.
- Believe in your potential.
- Your body wants to heal.
- Trust in its resilience.
- Celebrate small victories along the way, and maintain hope in the face of obstacles.
- Surround yourself with positivity, embrace self-compassion, and take steps—no matter how small—toward your wellness goals.
- Healing isn't always linear, but every effort counts.
I know I've been given a gift from the Universe to foster long-term change. So I am honouring my path to wellness, embracing this as a chance to co-create another miracle in my life, filled with renewed health and vitality so that I can continue to be of service in the best possible way.
Thank you for being part of this with me. Your presence, healing prayers, and love continue to mean the world to me.
